You may have guessed this about me, or I may have already told you but.. I'm obsessed with Oregon. So much so that I have a bathroom lovingly called, "The Oregon Bathroom". It has all things Oregon and I'd show you a picture but, Jared and I unfortunately painted it a color called "Yellow Brick Road". (Jared really liked the name, therefore he "liked" the color..) It is hideous. I plan on painting it tan and hanging these pictures up. There's something about black and white pictures that I love. :)

When I married Jared, I gained hundreds of cousins. It's been so much fun to gain such wonderful family members. Sheena, Jared's cousin, is one of those great cousins. I am so lucky to now call her family. She is so sweet and so is her soon to-be husband, Eric! I had such a blast with them. We had a little misfortune when hundreds of zombies attacked downtown Salt Lake. Some sort of zombie conference? It was the strangest thing to happen to me on a photo shoot but, it made things memorable. I had so much fun photographing these two and I think they are such a fantastic couple. I can't wait for their wedding.

I've been blessed enough to have gone to Seaside, Oregon over a dozen times. I've seen a lot of the sights there and around this small beach town. However, every year I need to go to Ecola State Park. The density of the trees that no picture or description could do justice. The beautiful rocky beach. The hidden picnic tables in the woods. It's the perfect place..

These are the Buhlers. You may have seem them on my blog once or.. twice. :) I love this family a lot. This month was quite the milestone for them. The cute twins just turned 9 months. Little O turned 3.. and Cami & Travis just had birthdays as well! I'm grateful to know such charitable, funny, and wonderful people.

I have known Melissa (and her family & bridesmaids) for about 13 years but, I haven't seen her in 8 whole years. We all grew up in the same neighborhood and some of my favorite childhood memories are playing capture the flag, running our own neighborhood Haunted House, and sitting under a berry tree playing truth or dare. :)

Melissa and Alex got married in Melissa's Grandparent's backyard in Grantsville, Utah. It was beautiful and intimate with a lot of laughter. Congratulations, Alex and Melissa! I wish you the very best in life.

There's something you need to know about me.. I am obsessed with the Oregon Coast. I have gone every year for the past 15 years because my Grandma and Aunt live outside of Astoria in a little town called Knappa. Oregon makes me whole. It fills my soul for a year and then when that year is nearly up, I go insane waiting for the trip to come. :) The countdown is almost down to single digit numbers and this year, my entire family is going to be there. Oregon 2011 is going to be epic.

Beautiful Jessica is Jared's youngest sister. She and Ryan met while working at Best Buy, of all places, and they are truly head over heels for each other.

The night before the wedding, The Tobler family gathered with all of Ryan's family at the Giambrone home. A few of us were talking in a circle after dinner, and Ryan came up to Jessica and gave her a big kiss and said, "I love you so much.." and believe me, he does. He told me he did a few times during their wedding day. He would look at me and say, "I love her so much, look how beautiful she is.." True love, indeed. Melts my heart.

As the bridesmaid and groomsmen walked down the isle, everyone anticipated for Jessica and her Father to follow. When they did, everyone stood as they entered this was Ryan's expression.

When I saw Ryan's tears, mine came as well! The ceremony was beautiful and very touching.

I love this next shot.. sneaking a kiss right after the ceremony. So cute.

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Giambrone! I feel so blessed to have been apart of this special day. I love you both so much!

Life has been busy.. but then again, it always is. One of my goals for 2011 was to take more pictures of my personal life. So far, I have taken a picture of tulips I got for my anniversary, ice cream at Leatherbys, and a sunset. Fail.

Sometimes I feel my need to express myself creatively might burst out of me! I often have a desire to sneak away from my responsibilities and go to the mountains.. and maybe I should more often. Years ago, I would drive up to the Canyon once a week and it was always an adventure.

Life right now is just about perfect. I have my little worries, of course. But, I am feeling so satisfied with life, even with it's imperfections. I am truly blessed.

Hello, Friends! It's time for a very special giveaway..

A year and a half ago, Jared and I moved into our first house. We have absolutely loved living where we do. We love this house that is now our home and we have been truly blessed with the people we've met. We love the many wonderful neighbors and dear friends that we have found here.

A few months after moving in, we met our neighbors, Allen and Jill. They have become dear friends who we love very much. We quickly learned that they had been trying to have a baby for sometime and we have been praying for this to happen ever since.

Recently, they found out that without In Vitro Fertilization, they have a very slim chance of getting pregnant. So, this is the next path to venture on for our friends except, this path comes at a very high cost. $12, 000.

I am very excited to announce that a 5K run/walk, Pound the Pavement for Parenthood, will be held on Saturday, November 13, in order to help raise money for IVF for Allen and Jill.

Pre-registration will end Saturday, November 10th and is $15.00.

Same day registration is $20.00.

I decided to take Chris & Karen to a spot I went to a few years ago. When we found it and started to walk down, I found out that Chris recently had surgery. (Great! Let's go hiking!) Despite that fact, he did great!

I also learned that Karen is marrying into family of ice cream. Yes, Chris does look familiar to you.. because his family owns the famous Leatherbys! Karen is a smart woman.

As our shoot went on, I soon discovered that Karen likes Chris for more than just his ice cream. ;) These two are a sweet and adorable couple. I don't think I got one serious picture because, they just laugh together. It's so nice to be around such happiness all the time. I love my job.

I may have gotten us lost for just a few minutes. But, we made it back.. eventually.

I so much enjoyed my time in the mountains. I love it up there and I'm dying to go back as the Fall leaves start to come. Chris and Karen were such a great pair to spend the morning with.

What a blessing it was to be apart of Steven and Jinger's big day. I felt an outpouring of love from their families and I enjoyed getting to know them. The wind at the temple was fierce and we could see the rain clouds blowing in. I was so impressed with Jinger because she knew that nothing could put a damper on this wonderful day. When the reception came, the rain didn't let up. (Is it going too far to say that I was almost glad?) Because, oh.. it was so romantic.

At the end of the evening, sparklers lid their way and fireworks were let off into the air. Congratulations, you two!

I know it may be getting old after 10+ years of talking about it all the time but, I really can't help but crave the beauty & the whole feeling of it! This group of four cousins was so much fun to hang out with. They are very sweet and their relationship reminded me of my cousins, who are like my brothers. I really enjoyed my day with them.

Travis and Cami are very giving and loving people who I am happy to know and to have them as friends. Little Oaklee is quite the regular on my blog because she is so adorable and one of the happiest babies I've ever met. We had a fun day shooting in Heber, thanks to the Buhler's generosity.

I am smitten

I am smitten with this new little baby, Brooklyn! I could spend all day with her. She is absolutely adorable and when around her, you can feel her sweet spirit. The birth process is such a miracle to me and I am in awe when I think about what a blessing a new precious baby is, straight from heaven. Jared and I have both enjoyed this editing process. If he was sitting next to me, we would both oooh and ahhh at the computer screen. (Special thanks to Natalie and Marc for creating such a cutie!) :)

Robby + Tonya: Part Two

I can be an emotional person. A crier at times. This proved true at the wedding of Robby and Tonya. The ceremony, the father-daughter dance, the mother-son dance, basically all dancing..I became emotional and a bit teary. It was a night full of tender moments and also some hillarious and fun moments. Their family was fun to be around and it was wonderful to watch the love that Tonya and Robby have all day. Congratulations!

Whitney is my gorgeous best friend. She is going to serve an LDS mission to Leeds, England! I am so ecstatic for her even though I will miss her terribly. I had a great time going up to the mountains to take pictures, just as we have done for years. Good luck, Whit!

Not only did I have the pleasure of taking pictures of this cute family but, I also stayed with them in Littleton, CO. It was a great trip to Colorado! Especially because it was my first time there! Beautiful! I had a great day of shooting with this family. I was happy to spend my weekend with such wonderful people.
